FAITH over FEAR; Even If 🌿

Fear says: “What if this all falls apart?”
Faith whispers: “Even if it does, I’ll rise again.”

Fear tightens. Faith softens.
Fear reacts. Faith responds.
Fear fights the wave. Faith floats with it.

🌿 The “Even If” Principle

There’s a powerful shift that happens when you move from simply noticing your emotions → to understanding them → to ultimately trusting them.

It happens the moment you stop fearing what might happen and start trusting why it IS happening.  

In the Untangled Blueprint, we call this shift The “Even If” Principle.

The premise is simple:
When we ask “What if?” we stay in FEAR.
But when we declare “Even if”, we step into FAITH.

And I don’t know about you, but I’d choose FAITH over FEAR any day!

What If = Fear

“What if” is the sound of a mind trying to predict a future that’s ultimately unpredictable.
It’s rooted in control — in seeking certainty instead of choosing peace.

“What if I fail?”
“What if it doesn’t work out?”
“What if they leave?”
“What if I can’t handle it?”

“What if” pushes our nervous system below the line, into lower-energy emotions like fear, overwhelm, guilt, anger, and doubt -- All of the emotions that rob us of the joy and peace we’re all seeking.
They drain our vitality, cloud our clarity, and disconnect us from hope.

“What if” keeps us in chaos, when what we really crave is calm.
It’s a loop that convinces us we’re powerless — keeping us scanning for what could go wrong instead of opening to what could go right - to how this could all be happening FOR us, in some way, shape or form. 

And because of that, “What if” doesn’t bring safety at all;
it only multiplies the uncertainty we’re trying to avoid.

Even If = Faith

But when we choose to ignore the “What if” and instead command ourselves to visit the potential of “Even if…,” we rise from emotional dysregulation into emotional leadership — where optimism and hope breathe possibility back into the moment.

“Even if” is trust in motion — a conscious choice to open up to possibilities instead of lingering in defeat. This single shift moves you:

  • from protection to potential,

  • from fight-or-flight to flow-and-faith,

  • from anxious thinking to aligned being.

When you choose Even if, your energy expands. You reconnect to curiosity, creativity, and confidence. You stop bracing against life and begin partnering with it.

And in that partnership, something beautiful happens:

You let go of the wheel, trusting that you’ve already input your GPS coordinates — your intentions, values, and worthy dreams — and you don’t have to force the route or control every turn to get there.
You just have to stay present, steer with awareness, and trust that every detour, delay or (re)direction is part of the journey — guiding you toward the destinations of your dreams.

When your internal GPS is set to peace, purpose, and love, “Even If” reminds you to have FAITH that every experience is designed to get you closer to who you were always meant to be — no matter how it might feel in the moment.

“Even if” elevates your energy, expands your perspective, and invites your Highest Self to collaborate with you — turning fear of the unknown into faith for what’s next.

🧭 How to Practice “Even If” — PAUSE • PONDER • PROCEED

Here’s how “Even If” works within the Untangled framework of PAUSE • PONDER • PROCEED — your roadmap back to alignment and trust.

1) PAUSE — Notice you’re OUT of alignment.

Catch yourself in a “What If” spiral.
Breathe. Slow down. Name it.

“I’m thinking about “What Ifs” right now — and that’s okay.”

Awareness is the first step back to the dock.

2) PONDER — What perspective helps me shift out of “What If” and into “Even If”?

“Even if this is happening, I choose to have FAITH that it’s designed to correct me, direct me, or protect me.”

“Even if I don’t know the outcome, I choose to have FAITH it’s unfolding FOR me.”

“Even if things don’t go the way I want them to, I choose to have FAITH I’m still on my path.”

“Even if this doesn’t work out for me NOW, I choose to have FAITH I’m exactly where I’m meant to be — and everything ALWAYS eventually works out for me.”

3) PROCEED — Anchor in trust and take the next best step.

Stand firmly on the dock, speaking your Even Ifs out loud and then….

Choose to take ONE action that moves you forward.
Send the message. Set the boundary. Ask for help. Rest. Or simply breathe.

Pause: I’m in a What If spiral. I caught it. YAY for me.
Ponder: WIKI: What I know is…

  •  Even if I don’t know the outcome, it’s unfolding FOR me.

  •  Even if it doesn’t go my way, I’m still on track.

  •  Even if it doesn’t work out, I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

Proceed: Intentionally choose FAITH over FEAR.
